UK GRID-CONNECTION PLANNING

G99 and G100.
Clear from the start.

Soundon’s iEMS and PCS include functionality to support generator connection and export-limitation design—but every UK project still requires site-specific engineering and DNO acceptance.

01

G99 connection

G99 governs the connection of generation equipment operating in parallel with UK distribution networks. The project pathway depends on power, equipment, site configuration and the relevant DNO process.

02

G100 export limitation

G100 covers customer export-limitation schemes. Soundon control functionality can support the design, while measurement, fail-safe arrangements and final approval remain site-specific.

PROJECT PATHWAY

From site data to energisation.

  1. 01Define the system

Confirm PCS power, battery capacity and operating modes.

  2. 02Review the connection

Existing supply, export limit, protection and site drawings.

  3. 03Apply to the DNO

Follow the relevant application route with accurate technical data.

  4. 04Install and prove

Complete settings, commissioning and any required witness test.

SCOPE CLARITY

Integrated functionality is not automatic approval.

This distinction protects the project programme and prevents misleading claims.
